Kent's Sporting Memories

The ‘Kent’s Sporting Memories’ archive is a collection of oral histories and associated materials concerning the post-war history of sport in east Kent.

It is the community archive of the ‘Kent’s Sporting Memories’ oral history and reminiscence project, which is being carried out on behalf of Kent Sport, the Active Partnership for Kent, and in coordination with the Sporting Memories Foundation.

Beginning in 2019, the two-year funded project is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. As of November 2019, the archive holds 125 items based on 16 audio and video oral history interviews.
